Description: This used to be the National supermarket in Abbeville, and was the scene of my first exposure to the Cajun culture back in the early 80's. The people spoke French in there. They had a whole side of an aisle stocked with rice, not just 10 linear feet like at home. They had more spices and condiments that I ever saw in my life.
